ECOMMERCE CLIENT SCOOPS TOP AWARD
Congratulations to one of our ecommerce clients, RE, who has picked up the prestigious ‘Retailer of the Year’ title at the Homes and Gardens Designers Awards, held recently at the British Museum in London.
RE, who fought off stiff competition from two other London-based retailers to scoop the title, is now preparing to take the capital by storm with a temporary ‘pop-up’ version of its award-winning shop in Liberty’s department store.
Meanwhile, its Corbridge shop is undergoing an expansion with 800 extra square feet being added to house a new design and stock room. This much needed space is partly due to the overwhelming success of its online shop, which accounts for a high percentage of sales as the store’s success continues to soar.
The business, which was set up by Jenny Vaughan and Simon Young, has built up a loyal customer base from all over the world via its online shop which sells its eclectic range of new and vintage homeware and objets d’art.
The creative couple also has plans to introduce their own range of hand-crafted goods under the name REgd and Indigo will be working closely with RE to ensure its web sales continue to go from strength to strength.
