Indigo wins again at UKSport

North East new media company Indigo Multimedia continues to outrun the big London agencies with new wins to produce and develop a number of web-based projects, film and gaming platforms for UK Sport.

The company is now producing two further UK Sport projects, including a fly on the wall documentary following the daily lives of the British Pursuit Cycling team, the 100% ME Team as they train for international competition. The film highlights the commitment and dedication of the young riders hotly tipped to succeed at future World Championships and Olympic Games.

A second film, On Camp with Kelly focuses on an intensive workshop for aspiring female athletes, coached and mentored by double Olympic gold medal winner, Kelly Holmes.

Allison Holloway, Education Manager for Drug Free Sport at UK Sport said “Having worked with Indigo on several projects in the past we felt they had the knowledge we were looking for, coupled with a passion for our 100%ME initiative”.  

Indigo have continued to strengthen their relationship with the country’s top sporting agency following the company’s phenomenal success last year when they secured a major contract to produce a hard hitting DVD aimed at driving home the drug-free sport message to elite athletes. The impact of the 100%ME DVD has led UK Sport to order an additional 20,000 copies of the resource. 

The 100%ME website, also designed by Indigo, is accessible at www.100percentme.co.uk for anyone wanting to know more about the issues surrounding drug free sport and features endorsements from many of the UK’s top athletes including Paul Collingwood, Tanni Grey Thompson and Paula Radcliffe.

Craig Hamilton, Project Coordinator at Indigo explained “In developing the initial web site we were able to demonstrate to UK Sport that we understood their key messages and in turn have been able to offer further solutions to help them engage and communicate effectively with their audience.”
