Description

The North East Regional Portal is a fully-owned subsidiary company of Regional Development Agency ONE NorthEast. The portal aims to inspire and drive demand for electronic information and business, drive quality traffic to partners' websites and regional online communities, and also promote and support regional online initiatives. Indigo were commissioned by n-e-life to redevelop the portal and implement a new Content Management System (CMS).

Indigo developed design concepts and completed a complicated technical development within a very short timescale. Key tasks included information architecture, user interface design and branding, CMS vendor selection and technical implementation.

Outcome

The n-e-life website is the first regional development portal of its kind in the UK with 70k pages of content and more than 80k site visits per month.
