Design of an innovative new website for National Glass Centre’s re-launch following its £2.25M capital development programme.

The website design is based on an approach we call ‘nodal progression’. It is based on the idea of creating a knowledge and community hub and building a website that is social, dynamic and as full of life and ideas as the physical venue.

Indigo performed the following key tasks:

  • User experience design
  • Responsive design for mobile and tablet
  • Mega menus
  • Holistic offer calendar interface
  • Inter-related tagging through CMS
  • Integration of dynamic feeds from external sources
  • Community platform

  • Serves the needs of a complex range of audiences from tourists to students to academics and artists
  • A multi-purpose dynamic communications tool
  • Provides users with an interactive and immersive online experience of the National Glass Centre
